We have an 11mm counterclockwise thread at the very front of the pistol barrel for use with thread adaptors to allow for a variety of tactical muzzle devices such as silencer and tracer units depending on your playstyle, whatever suits you or the Game mission best.
In keeping with the modern design, the trigger is skeletonized with three holes drilled to help reduce weight, but this is done primarily for aesthetics and to complete the Pistol’s style.
The Pistol has two built-in safety systems: right-handed manual safety and a beavertail grip safety. The manual safety switch is located at the rear of the Frame, on either side of the Pistol, and is conveniently located beneath the shooter’s thumb for quick access. When not in use, this safety can be used as a “gas pedal” style thumb rest to control muzzle climb and aid in rapid aiming at multiple targets.
The Pistol is made of heavy-duty alloy, with a polymer nozzle and magazine base plate. The alloy construction and weight produce a firm and satisfying recoil action every time you pull the trigger, allowing you to lose yourself in the operator role.
This Airsoft pistol has an adjustable Hop-Up unit that can be accessed when the Slide is separated from the Frame for cleaning. It is designed to increase range and accuracy by imparting spin on the BB, giving you shooting options depending on the skirmish.
Moving on to the 1911 slide, it features the classic no-frills design but with a few tweaks to bring the Pistol up to date, like the cut grooves at the front and rear of the top Slide, for additional grip whether you have gloves on or not. The grooves also help to reduce the weight of the Slide and allow for faster cycle rates.
The 1911 grip panels are of modern design, with added texturing to ensure a good grip on the Pistol in any weather condition, with or without gloves. The triangular indentations, to match the spec ops style look, add to the sleek, modern design.
The airsoft pistols’ safety can be activated if the raven pistol is cocked or not by pushing it up into the recess on the left side of the top Slide with your thumb.
