RAVEN believes that all of these factors are important, which is why they are very excited to release their latest GBB Airsoft Pistol, the R14.
The RAVEN R14 combines concepts from RAVEN’s current Airsoft Pistol line to create a ‘punchy’ yet efficient sidearm.
Starting with the true “powerhouse” of a GBB pistol, the 23-round magazine is “double-stacked,” allowing for a large amount of gas storage – ensuring you’ll unload the magazine to empty as long as the appropriate gas is used for the environmental conditions.
The moulded-stipple RAVEN Grip surrounds the magazine, as does the “Beavertail” safety fitted to the rear (a secure grip must be provided before the trigger is allowed to move to fire).
The frame has a Picatinny Accessory Rail, which is necessary for going “full-tactical” with lights and laser units.
The R14’s slide is very reminiscent of 1911 slides, but because it is sitting atop a frame that includes a double-stacked magazine, the R14 has a top-tier “power-to-weight ratio,” providing the user with a memorable recoil experience. Because this slide is profiled after the standard 1911 slide, there are numerous holster options available on the market.
