The B4 URG-U (B.R.S.S.) rifle replica by the Taiwanese company BOLT Airsoft is undoubtedly a huge step forward in the evolution of AEG replicas. Thanks to the innovative solutions used, it has finally become possible to bring the experience of the AEG user closer to that of GBBR replicas – so, in short, BOLT Airsoft has created a rifle replica that really “kicks” as it should.
The replica is made of high-quality materials and with the utmost attention to detail. All metal elements are made of aluminum. In addition, all small elements are made of steel. The fit of the elements is beyond reproach. There are no gaps here, especially between the upper and lower halves of the receiver, which are also characteristic of so-called “top shelf” replicas.
The replica is equipped with a multi-position, telescopic BOM Stock stock – with a thick plastic stock and holes for attaching a QD tactical sling. On the back of the receiver there is a 22mm RIS rail with mounted metal mechanical sights. The front grip of the replica features an M-lok mounting system that allows you to personalize the replica to your own requirements and mount additional accessories such as grips or tactical flashlights. The whole replica is crowned with a Firehog type flash hider. The set also includes a polymer mid-cap magazine that holds approx. 140 BBs.
The biggest advantage of this replica is undoubtedly the recoil and bolt operation simulation system. It consists of two independent elements: a standard imitation of the bolt operation known from most EBB type replicas and a separate system mounted inside the stock guide. This system consists of a spring, a spring-loaded actuator and a system transferring energy from the piston to the spring-loaded actuator. The experience offered by using this solution is incomparable to anything offered so far by manufacturers of serial AEG replicas. It is important to note that despite certain design differences forced by the use of the Blow Back system, the replica is largely compliant with the V.2 standard established by TM. The only significant difference is the piston with a characteristic cutout. However, it is equipped with a series of metal teeth, which guarantees its considerable durability. The compatibility of the remaining parts of the gearbox guarantees easy tuning of the replica, as well as easy access to spare and service parts if necessary. The high-quality Hop-Up chamber combined with the 6.02 mm precision barrel guarantees excellent performance.
